1st Urgency, Emerging, Emergency
Art Show. December 2002 I had a great response to my work. Great feedback. I experienced a kind of paternal pride from the compliments given to my work. It felt good to share those images with everyone that saw them. Tony Wynn, the organizer of this whole event/movement, is really creating a wonderful environment for showcasing emerging artists. If you live in Miami and you're interested in art, you need to keep in touch with what's going to be happening at his gallery, and if you are an artist yourself, you need to go there and meet him and probably you'll soon be exhibiting your own art. I really admire someone doing something this big for the arts without having big dollar signs in their eyes. I will be showing my work once more at the same place, next month, in January, during the Art-Miami Show. For those who missed out this time, I'll be showing some of the same photos, but there will be some new work as well. Hope to see you all there. I'll give out more info as soon as I have it. Again, thanks to all the people that participated in one way or another in what was my first gallery exhibit. Marcelo Aņez Studio 7 Alternative Space. -On Biscayne Blvd, enter the
