It's hard to put into words what my relation is with photography. The process really begins before I even hold a camera in my hands. Throughout my life, my brain has figured out ways to transform the visual information it gets into images that I enjoy. By focusing in on details of larger images or framing out sections of what I see, in my head, I've managed to find beauty.  So the camera has really become a tool for me to turn this internal process into a form of art that I can share with others.

I love discovering beauty that is overlooked because it's just part of everyday life.  Sometimes a spot, a stain on the floor can be as beautiful as a smile on a girl. I've always enjoyed sparking creativity on other people, so when I find someone looking at one of my photos, taking the time to figure out what's on the frame, it makes me feel I've achieved something.  So look around.
